COMING SOON Poll – August 2013
I’ve neglected posting this monthly poll these last couple of months, but since August can be an interesting moviegoing month – it’s time to vote again! The month of August will give us some of the requisite sequels and comic book adaptations we’re used to in the summer, but we’ll also get some intriguing biopics and indie dramas coming our way. Face it, you’re curious about Ashton Kutcher portraying Steve Jobs in “JOBS” and what can possible come from Lindsay Lohen and director Paul Schrader pairing in “The Canyons”. In case you’re curious, I’m really looking forward to “Elysium”, Neil Blomkamp’s follow-up to “District 9” and “The World’s End”, Edgar Wright’s latest comedy. There’s also a “Kick-Ass 2” curiosity floating around as well. So, vote below and as often as you’d like and comment with the movie(s) you chose.
My fangirlness is insulted. You forgot the Mortal Instruments:City of Bones which every tween/teen girl will want to see….
The fact that it’s getting dropped at the end of August isn’t a good sign!
The World’s End, as I am sure you will find out isn’t all it is cracked out to be. It begins well as a comedy, but loses a lot of steam when it tries to become a sci-fi film. I love Pegg and Wright, but this is one of the weaker films they have penned.
