It’s October. Time for the award contenders to ramp it up as we get closer to the end of the year. We are also given the requisite horror sequels and remakes for Halloween. There’s also a good handful of indie comedies and docs. With The Chicago International Film Festival (CIFF) coming into town this week, you can expect us to cover some of those featured films as well. Some of those films are on this list.
