This Week in DVD & Bluray (06-08-10)

June 7, 2010

It’s pretty weak again on the rental shelves this week, but luckily there’s some more action in the theaters to counteract that.  Shutter Island, one of our favorite films of 2010 so far, is coming out on Bluray and DVD, so if you haven’t seen that one… you definitely should!  If I may recommend one more for you, relive some Caddyshack memories in crisp high-definition on Bluray!  Enjoy the rundown!

I didn’t realize that A CLOSE SHAVE’s Shaun the Sheep had his own series. Sweet! Just put a couple at the top of my Netflix queue after seeing it on this list. Looks like it might be a bit like PINGU, which my almost 4 year old son loves.

Looking forward to watching SHUTTER ISLAND again!

Oh yes, I enjoy anything from Aardman Animation! “Pingu” is just bizarre to me but I still enjoy watching my daughter get a kick outta it. Yes, “Shutter Island” deserves another go-round, for sure!
