Coming Soon: July 2010
This is the month where the summer movie season should really kick it up a notch! Well, that’s what the studios hope at least. There are big-budget hopefuls coming starring Nicolas Cage, Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie as well as indie gems with Robert Duvall, Kevin Kline and Julianne Moore. There’s some anticipated sci-fi flicks; one directed by Christopher Nolan and the other by some dude named Nimrod. There’s also some cool-looking docs right around the corner; one about some renowned film directors, one about nuclear arms and yet another about a guy who drives a Winnebago! Such variety! Now, all we need is a movie with talking cats and dogs….er, never mind. Of course, you can be sure there will be some 3D and IMAX releases as well, it’s just a certainty nowadays.
None of these films are guaranteed even though some of them are getting good buzz….it all depends on what you, the audience, find satisfying or captivating!
