COMING SOON: January 2011
January 7, 2011
The first month of the year! Full of new resolutions, beginnings and possibilities, none of which can be found at the movie theaters. For January is the equivalent of the cinematic trash bin, where studios drag and drop their predominately unscreened films they don’t know what to do with. There have been a few exceptions over the years that have made January more tolerable, but by and large….this month is a dull dirge.
The good news: we can catch up on those movies that are still building award buzz and we’re also able to finally see some 2010 films that are now getting a wider release (in major cities at least). So, let this serve as a guide for this month. There are imdb links to each film, so you can find out more….
