Reel Talk Podcast #30 – Oz the Great and Powerful, The Silence and then some….
It’s time to meet the wizard before he becomes the wonderful Wizard of Oz in Sam Raimi’s “Oz the Great and Powerful”, which also finds us determining which witch is witchier. I discuss my thoughts with Demetri on Disney’s latest attempt to bring the magical land of Oz to the big-screen. I also share what I thought about writer/director Baran bo Odar’s “The Silence” a 2010 German film that focuses on two identically tragic murders involving teen girls that take place in the same place, in the same way, 23 years apart. Definitely two totally different films. Find out what else we discuss and complain about on the latest episode of the Reel Talk Podcast!
