COMING SOON: August 2010
August 4, 2010
With one month left in the 2010 Summer Movie Season, this is it! It’s been a rough one, for sure. Some sequels didn’t do as well as hoped (“Iron Man 2”)while others delivered the expected goods (“Toy Story 3”). At least we had our work cut out for us (“Inception”) and if we looked hard enough, we could find some real gems (“Winter’s Bone). In the past, August has been an experimental summer free-for-all but lately there have been some fun surprises and all-out last stands.
Looks like here’s still a good amount of variety at the theaters in August. Just the fact that there’s a movie made with Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, and Dwayne Johnson, has me curious. There’ll also be a weekend brawl between Sly Stallone and Julia Roberts (talk about drawing opposing crowds) that will surely make date night difficult. Add to that some horror, comedy and documentary films and you got a list that looks like this….

I hope you’re as excited as I am for Step Up 3D- The Steppening: This Time It’s Personal.
I am! Especially when I heard that one of the characters looks like Michael Cera impersonating Maya Rudolph! Step Up indeed!
